Two Tree Solar Farm
About the Project
The Two Tree Solar Farm spans 60.37 hectares of agricultural land near Dean Hill Road in Willand, Devon, within the jurisdiction of Mid Devon District Council.
Situated just south of Willand and approximately 10 km east of Tiverton, the project is strategically located west of the M5 motorway, offering key regional connectivity. The land comprises of six distinct field parcels. Planning permission was granted on 30th November 2023.
Our Proposal
Two Tree is a 49.9 MW solar photovoltaic project, comprising of south facing PV arrays, associated substations, transformers, access tracks and security infrastructure. The design minimizes land take and retains agricultural use for grazing, with a temporary operational period of 40 years.
Community Benefit Fund
A Community Benefit Fund is a voluntary commitment by a developer to pay into a fund which is then made available to finance community projects. Community Benefit Funds can offer an opportunity for the local community to access long term, reliable and flexible funding to directly enhance their local area, economy, society and environment.
We have committed to provide funding to the local Parish Councils once construction is complete, for the lifetime of the project.
